ABOUT IRCONS
The University of Santo Tomas - College of Nursing (UST-CON) made history by organizing and hosting the 1st International Research Conference for Nursing Students (IRCoNS) in the Philippines on March 9 to 10, 2011. The conference, "Stimulating Creative Minds Towards New Frontiers in Nursing Research," gathered 765 national and international delegates from 29 local and international institutions. The primary objective was to "heighten the awareness of its participants on the significance of research in the practice of nursing as a profession."

Building on the inaugural event's success, the 2nd IRCoNS was conducted on February 26- 28, 2015 with the theme, "Global Convergence for Research Evidences of Quality Healthcare Outcome."
